A successful businessman is humiliated in public by his mistress, leading him on a downward spiral of self-destruction.
Synopsis
Mel Shapiro is a wealthy and successful businessman who has it all: a beautiful wife, a loving family, and a thriving career. But behind closed doors, he's hiding a secret: he's having an affair with a younger woman named Susan.
One day, Susan decides to blackmail Mel, threatening to expose their affair to his wife unless he pays her a large sum of money. Mel is furious, but he knows he can't risk his reputation being ruined. So he agrees to pay Susan's demands.
But Susan isn't satisfied with just money. She wants to humiliate Mel, so she releases a video of them having sex to the public. The video goes viral, and Mel's life is destroyed.
Mel's wife leaves him, his business partners fire him, and he becomes a social pariah. He's forced to move into a small apartment and take a menial job just to make ends meet.
As Mel's life spirals out of control, he begins to reflect on his past actions. He realizes that he's been living a lie, and that he's been driven by greed and self-interest.
With the help of a therapist, Mel begins to confront his demons and work towards redemption. He learns to forgive himself and others, and he discovers a newfound sense of purpose in his life.
